Dispatch of Japanese Self-Defense Forces aircraft in response to the earthquake that occurred in the southeastern part of Türkiye

- With regard to the earthquake that occurred in the southeastern part of Türkiye, one Japanese Self-Defense Forces B-777 aircraft will depart Narita airport for Türkiye today in order to transport assets and equipment needed for the Japanese Disaster Relief (JDR) Medical Team operating on the ground.
- Japan will continue to provide assistance in light of the needs on the ground while closely communicating with the Government of Türkiye.
