Dispatch of the Japan Disaster Relief Medical Team in Response to the Earthquake Damage in the Republic of Türkiye

  1. Today, February 10, upon the request of the Government of the Republic of Türkiye, the Government of Japan decided to dispatch the Japanese Disaster Relief (JDR) Medical Team to Türkiye in response to the damage caused by the recent earthquake. The team will provide medical assistance to the victims of the earthquake.
  2. Japan will continue to provide seamless and effective assistance as much as possible until the restoration and reconstruction of Türkiye.
