  1. On November 13, an explosion occurred in Istanbul, the Republic of Turkey, which caused a large number of casualties. Japan extends its sincere condolences to the bereaved families, and expresses its heartfelt sympathy to those who were injured.
  2. Terrorism cannot be justified for any reason, and Japan firmly condemns the acts of terrorism. Japan expresses its strong solidarity with the Government and people of Turkey.
