UK Foreign Secretary to Visit Japan and Hold the Sixth Japan-UK Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue

  1. The Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson MP, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom will visit Japan from July 20 to 22, 2017.
  2. On this occasion, Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will hold the sixth Japan-UK Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue with Foreign Secretary Johnson in Tokyo on July 21.
  3. The two Ministers will discuss such issues as enhancement of the Japan-U.K. relations including the areas of security as global strategic partners, the UK's exit from the EU, and regional affairs.
