Attendance by the State Minister for Foreign Affairs Nakayama at the White House Summit on Countering Violent Extremism

  1. On February 19, Mr. Yasuhide Nakayama, State Minister for Foreign Affairs will visit Washington, D.C. to attend the ministerial component of the White House Summit on Countering Violent Extremism.
  2. In this meeting, issues including future challenges for countering terrorist recruitment and radicalization, and domestic and international efforts and assistance to counter violent extremism will be discussed.
  3. State Minister Nakayama will also have an exchange of views with delegates of other countries.
