Declassification of Diplomatic Records

- On December 21, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs declassifies 19 files of diplomatic records at the Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The files include records of diplomatic events in 1991:
- Gulf Crisis (Dispatch of minesweepers, transportation of the displaced persons)
- The Visits of Prime Minister Kaifu to the United States
- The Visit of President of the Soviet Union Gorbachev to Japan
- Dissolution of the Soviet Union
- The Visit of Prime Minister Kaifu to China
