Courtesy Call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs Horii

On November 22, commencing at 11:00 a.m. for approximately 30 minutes, Mr. HORII Iwao, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call from Mr. LEE Hee-sup, Secretary General of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS), and other TCS members, during their visit to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:
- State Minister Horii stated that he has taken various initiatives of the TCS in a positive manner and will continue to support its activities, hoping that the TCS will contribute to promoting future-oriented trilateral cooperation among Japan, China and the Republic of Korea. He also expressed his wish to work for the further development of the trilateral process while cooperating with the TCS.
- In response, Secretary General LEE expressed his gratitude for the Government of Japan’s steady support for the TCS, and his hope for its continuous cooperation. He also stated that the TCS would like to further contribute to trilateral cooperation among Japan, China and the Republic of Korea.
