Message by Minister for Foreign Affairs HAYASHI Yoshimasa regarding the damage caused by the earthquake which struck the Solomon Islands

On November 23, Minister for Foreign Affairs HAYASHI Yoshimasa issued the following message to Hon. Jeremiah MANELE, Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade of Solomon Islands regarding the damage caused by the earthquake which struck the Solomon Islands on November 22.
“I am deeply saddened by the damage caused by the earthquake that drastically struck the Solomon Islands on November 22. I extend my deepest sympathy to all those who have been suffering. I would like to inform you that the Government of Japan stands ready to provide assistance for rehabilitation and reconstruction of your country. I sincerely hope that the affected people will be able to return to their normal life as soon as possible.”
