Exchange of Notes concerning Japan's Cultural Grant Assistance to the Republic of Tajikistan for “the Project for the Improvement of Equipment for Book Preservation, Digitization and Utilization of Book House of Tajikistan”

  1. On 18 November 2022, in Dushanbe H.E. Mr. AIKI Toshihiro, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan and H.E. Mrs. Zulfiya Davlat DAVLATZODA, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan exchanged notes concerning Japan's Cultural Grant Assistance up to the amount of 83.8 million Yen for“The Project for the Improvement of Equipment for Book Preservation, Digitization and Utilization of Book House of Tajikistan”.
  2. This project aims to provide the National Agency ISBN-Book House of Tajikistan with necessary equipment for the improvement for book preservation, digitization and utilization of its archives.
  3. This project is expected to increase the access to the service provided by the Book House as well as to improve its quality, and thereby contribute to proper preservation, utilization and succession of its archives, promotion of its culture at home and abroad and advancement of cultural exchange.
