　On April 6, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by Dr. MATSUMOTO Yoichiro, new Science and Technology Advisor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Dr. KISHI Teruo, former Science and Technology Advisor.

  1. 　Minister MOTEGI expressed appreciation to the former Science and Technology Advisor KISHI, for his diverse activities over the past four years and a half. Minister MOTEGI also showed his expectation to Dr. MATSUMOTO for his activities as the new Science and Technology Advisor.
  2. 　They also exchanged their views on efforts for the promotion of science and technology diplomacy.
