Message of condolences by Foreign Minister Taro Kono following the damages caused by the typhoon that hit the Southern Philippines
Following the damages resulting from the typhoon that hit the Southern Philippines from December 22 to 23, Mr. Taro Kono, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan delivered the following message of condolences to H.E. Mr. Alan Peter S. Cayetano, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines.
I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathy to the Philippine government and its people on the typhoon damage in the Southern Philippines.
The Government of Japan is ready to provide assistance when needed by the Philippines.
I would like to express my deepest condolences to the bereaved and sincerely pray for the prompt restoration of the affected areas.
