Kurihara, NHK: I think you and Yoichi Miyazawa, the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry met after the Cabinet meeting. What is the current situation regarding the consideration of the composition of power sources, and how are issues such as the timing of the decision being considered?
Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs: We explained the current situation regarding energy policy to the Prime Minister. I am aware that the issue of the best mix and the issue of the intended nationally determined contributions will also be discussed at a council next week. What we explained is about the present situation.

Kurihara, NHK: There have been reports that Prime Minister Abe has abandoned participating in Russia’s ceremony on May 9. Can I ask what is meant by that?
Minister Kishida: Nothing has been decided regarding the response to the ceremony.
Kurihara, NHK: Do you know when that decision will be made?
Minister Kishida: Nothing has been decided. I have heard no specifics of that kind.
