- The Committee for Proper Implementation of Grant Aid was established under the auspices of the Director-General, Economic Cooperation Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in December, 2002 with the participation of specialists in finance, development economics, law and accounting as well as non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to assure proper implementation of grant aid and to enhance its transparency.
- The committee will hold discussions on various stages of project implementation such as the submission of the projects to the Cabinet meetings, tendering, actual phase of implementation of the projects and ex-post evaluation at project level. The discussion will take up a number of issues with particular emphasis on proper implementation of grant aid.
