Japanese Language Program for Members and their Families of the Diplomatic Missions in Tokyo (Opening Ceremony and Orientation Meeting)

On March 22nd, an opening ceremony and orientation meeting for the Japanese Language Program for Members and their Families of the Diplomatic Missions in Tokyo was held at the Minato International Association.
The Program was initiated by the Ministry and a group of volunteer diplomats at the request of an Ambassador posted to Tokyo, and brought to fruition in cooperation with the Japan Foundation, the Minato International Association as well as volunteer instructors.
The Spring Term is scheduled to run from April to July, and the lessons will be held on a bi-monthly basis for beginners in Japanese.
