Courtesy Call on Chief Cabinet Secretary HAYASHI Yoshimasa by Governor Kevin Stitt of the State of Oklahoma

On December 12th, commencing at 3:35 p.m., for approximately 20 minutes, Mr. HAYASHI Yoshimasa, Chief Cabinet Secretary, received a courtesy call from the Honorable J. Kevin Stitt, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, the United States of America. The overview of the meeting is as follows.
- Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi welcomed Governor Stitt and his delegation’s visit to Japan, and expressed his hope for the strengthening and expanding of the relationship between Japan and the State of Oklahoma. In response, Governor Stitt expressed his desire to contribute to further expanding ties between Japan and the State of Oklahoma.
- The two sides also shared the views that Japan and the U.S. have also become the closest partners in the economic sphere and that enhancing the competitiveness of both economies remains a shared priority for Japan and the U.S.
- Furthermore, the two sides exchanged views on a wide range of topics, including U.S. domestic politics.
