On November 13, commencing at 9.30 a.m., for approximately 30 minutes, Ms. KAMIKAWA Yoko, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, together with Mr. NISHIMURA Yasutoshi, Minister for Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with the Honorable Ambassador Katherine Tai, United States Trade Representative at San Fransisco, United States. The overview of the meeting is as follows:

  1. Minister Kamikawa welcomed the reunion since Ambassador Tai’s visit to Japan to attend the G7 Trade Ministers’ Meeting in Osaka-Sakai.
  2. Ministers of the two countries exchanged views prior to the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) Ministerial in San Francisco and confirmed Japan-U.S. cooperation through the IPEF.
