Courtesy Call on Special Advisor to the Prime Minister NAGASHIMA by Mr. Josh Green, Governor of the State of Hawai’i

On October 7, commencing at 11:00 a.m. for approximately 30 minutes, Mr. NAGASHIMA Akihisa, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, received a courtesy call by Mr. Josh Green, Governor of the State of Hawai’i. The overview of the courtesy call is as follows:
- At the outset, Special Advisor NAGASHIMA welcomed Governor Green on his visit to Japan and shared his pleasure at meeting him again since May of this year. He also mentioned the cooperation between Japan and the State of Hawai’i in a wide range of fields, including economy, disaster prevention and human exchange.
- Governor Green introduced his agenda for the visit to Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa, and after giving an overview of the development of relations between Japan and the State of Hawai’i since their meeting in May, they confirmed their intention to continue developing possible cooperation between Japan and the State of Hawai’i in the Indo-Pacific region.
