On June 23rd, commencing at 4:20 PM, for approximately 25 minutes, Chief Cabinet Secretary HAYASHI Yoshimasa received a courtesy call from Dr. Kurt M. Campbell, Chairman and Co-Founder of The Asia Group. The overview is as follows.
- Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi welcomed Dr. Campbell's visit to Japan and expressed his respect for Dr. Campbell's contributions to strengthening the Japan-U.S. Alliance. He also expressed his expectation for Dr. Campbell's continued cooperation in further deepening the Japan-U.S. relationship.
- Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi and Dr. Campbell also exchanged views broadly on cooperation towards strengthening the Japan-U.S. Alliance and on the regional situations.
