On April 11th, commencing at 0:45 p.m. (local time, 1:45 p.m. on April 12th, Japan time) for approximately 90 minutes, Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, during his official visit to Washington D.C., attended the State Luncheon hosted by Ms. Kamala Harris, Vice President of the United States of America and Mr. Antony Blinken, U.S. Secretary of State. The overview of the State Luncheon is as follows.

Following welcoming remarks by Secretary of State Blinken and Vice President Harris, Prime Minister Kishida noted that broad personal exchanges between Japan and U.S. have advanced bilateral relations, and expressed his gratitude and respect to those attending the luncheon for their ongoing contributions to the development of Japan-U.S. relations.
