On November 2 (local time), Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, who is visiting the United Kingdom to attend the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26), held informal talks with The Honorable Joseph R. Biden, Jr., President of the United States of America. They confirmed that Japan and the United States will continue to work closely together towards further strengthening the Japan-U.S. Alliance, realizing a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” and tackling climate change.
