Japan-U.S. Summit Telephone Talk

On June 11, commencing at around 9:40 a.m. for approximately 20 minutes, Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, held a summit telephone talk with the Honorable Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America. The overview of the talk is as follows.
1. The Leaders welcomed the success of President and Mrs. Trump’s State Visit to Japan at the end of May, and reaffirmed that they would continue to work closely towards the success of the G20 Osaka Summit.
2. The Leaders also exchanged views on regional affairs including Iran.
