On February 10, commencing at 11:30 p.m. (9:30 a.m. local time) for approximately 15 minutes, Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, visited Arlington National Cemetery, during his trip to Washington D.C.

Prime Minister Abe was welcomed and guided by Major General Bradley A. Becker, Commanding General, U.S. Army Military District of Washington, and laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with members of each Armed Forces forming lines and the Japanese and U.S. national anthems being performed.
