Japan-U.S. Foreign Ministers’ Meeting
  1.  On September 26, commencing at around 8:15 a.m. (local time; around 9:15 p.m. Japan time) for approximately 15 minutes, Mr. Toshimitsu Motegi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, who is visiting New York City, the United States of America, held a Foreign Ministers’ Meeting with the Honorable Mike Pompeo, Secretary of State of the United States of America. The overview of the meeting is as follows.
  2.  The two ministers held a one-on-one exchange of views on regional issues, following up the discussions at the Japan-U.S. Summit Meeting held the day before, and confirmed that Japan and the U.S. will continue to coordinate closely in addressing the issues facing the region and the international community.
