Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister, offered and introduced to G7 leaders and other participants confectionaries, juices and other produce from Mie Prefecture during a coffee break, as well as Japanese sake produced in Mie Prefecture and other beverages over cocktails on Day 1 of the G7 Ise-Shima Summit on May 26, which presented meaningful opportunities to effectively promote Japan’s rich food culture.
