Meals for Social Dinner (Day 2)

On May 20, Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, and Mrs. KISHIDA Yuko, Spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan, offered and introduced to the leaders of G7, invited countries and invited international organizations and their spouses, at the social dinner on Day 2 of the G7 Hiroshima Summit, a variety of Japanese and Western dishes that made full use of ingredients from across Japan, along with Japanese sake and Japanese wine produced locally and in other areas. This was an extremely meaningful opportunity to promote the appeal of Japan’s food culture to the world.
