  1. In conjunction with the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Karuizawa, Nagano, the governmental PR exhibition will be set up in the International Media Center (IMC*) at Karuizawa Kazakoshi Park Multi-Purpose Gymnasium. The exhibition is aimed to present the charms of Japan toward domestic and international media and will be open from 11 a.m., on Saturday, April 15.

Seventeen different exhibits under the five themes of “Next Generation,” “Technology,” “Disaster Prevention and Reconstruction,” “Food,” and “Environment and SDGs, “ which contribute to the solutions for challenges facing the international community, will be displayed in the form of panels, videos, models and hands-on experience.
  3. A Nagano booth will also be set up to showcase the appeal of Nagano Prefecture. At the booth, Nagano’s wine, Japanese sake and light meals, among others, will be provided, and panels and other exhibits introducing Karuizawa’s tourism and culture will be on display. Furthermore, dishes using fresh ingredients from Nagano Prefecture will be served to media personnel.

 IMC is a facility for the press, set up at Karuizawa Kazakoshi Park Multi-Purpose Gymnasium to provide a working space for journalists who cover the Foreign Ministers’ Meeting. Access to the IMC is limited to holders of the Media Accreditation Cards, which must be obtained through registration in advance.
