Announcement of the Official Logo for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and the United Arab Emirates in 2022

- The official logo for “the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and the United Arab Emirates in 2022” has been selected among 122 entries through consultations between the Governments of Japan and the UAE. This logo will be used in the commemorative events to be held throughout the year in the both countries.
- Mr. Dave Martin, who lives in Dubai is the creator of the logo. This logo represents long lasting friendship between Japan and the UAE, expressing the falcon symbolizing the UAE which is soaring high and the cherry blossom which is blooming on the rising sun symbolizing Japan.
