On November 20, Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, attended the National Day Reception of the Sultanate of Oman. The overview is as follows.

  1. State Minister KUNIMITSU delivered a speech following the speech by H.E. Dr. Mohamed Said Khalifa Al Busaidi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to Japan.
  2. State Minister KUNIMITSU emphasized that both countries are steadily deepening in friendship and cooperation in many fields under the comprehensive partnership, including high-level visits between the two countries as well as bilateral exchanges on the occasion of the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, and expressed her expectations for further expansion of exchanges in the future.
    In addition, she expressed Japan’s gratitude for Oman's stable supply of energy, and touching upon Oman’s importance as a partner in maritime security, stated her desire to further deepen Japan-Oman relations.
