State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. YAMADA Kenji (the special envoy of Prime Minister of Japan) attends the inauguration ceremony for the President of the Republic of Türkiye
On June 3, 2023, Mr. YAMADA Kenji, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, who was dispatched to the Republic of Türkiye as a special envoy of Prime Minister KISHIDA Fumio, attended the inauguration ceremony for H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, held at the Presidential Palace in its capital Ankara. At the inauguration ceremony, President Erdoğan delivered his inaugural speech.
Following the ceremony, a dinner was hosted by President Erdoğan at the former Presidential Palace with the participation of delegates of various countries. State Minister Yamada attended the dinner on behalf of the Government of Japan.
State Minister Yamada told President Erdoğan that he carried with him a personal letter from Prime Minister Kishida to the President and congratulated President Erdoğan on his re-election.
