Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs OZORA’s Attendance at the Reception Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Tunisia

On September 25, a reception commemorating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Tunisia was held, hosted by the Embassy of Tunisia in Japan. Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs OZORA Koki attended the event. The overview is as follows.
- Remarks were delivered by H.E. Mr. Ahmed CHAFRA, Ambassador of Tunisia to Japan, followed by remarks from Parliamentary Vice-Minister OZORA as the guest of honor.
- In his remarks, Parliamentary Vice-Minister OZORA expressed his great pleasure at the fact that Japan and Tunisia have built close ties in the fields of politics, economics, culture, and people-to-people exchanges since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1956, developing their bilateral relationship as long-standing friends. He also conveyed Japan's intention to further advance the bilateral relationship across a wide range of areas going forward.
- Parliamentary Vice-Minister OZORA also referred to the recent agreement in principle on the Japan-Tunisia Investment Agreement, and expressed his hope that economic ties between the two countries would be further strengthened in the period ahead.
