On April 21, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs ERI Arfiya attended a dinner hosted by H.E. Mr. Mohammed Rachad BOUHLAL, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to Japan, where they exchanged views on a range of issues.

  1. Parliamentary Vice-Minister ERI noted that, although Japan and Morocco are geographically distant from one another, the bonds between the two countries are extremely strong, and expressed her desire to further develop the bilateral relationship in this year marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
  2. Parliamentary Vice-Minister ERI and Ambassador BOUHLAL welcomed the deepening cooperation between the two countries across a wide range of fields, including politics, economics, and tourism, and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the bilateral relationship going forward.
