Meeting between Mr. Karim Zidane, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence and the Evaluation of Public Policies of the Kingdom of Morocco, and Ms. Kunimitsu Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan

                        On October 30, from 1:00 PM for approximately 20 minutes, Ms. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan held talks with H.E. Mr. Karim ZIDANE, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence and the Evaluation of Public Policies, who is visiting Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:
- At the beginning, State Minister Kunimitsu expressed that Japan and Morocco have built cordial bilateral relations based on the friendship between the Imperial and the Royal Families, and that Japan places importance on this reinforced partnership. She also expressed Japan's willingness to further develop bilateral relations, particularly in the economic field, leading up to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year.
- In response, Minister Zidane introduced Morocco's efforts to promote investment, stating his intention to increase the number of Japanese companies in Morocco and his personal commitment to this endeavor.
- Both sides concurred on working together to strengthen cooperation across a wide range of fields, including further expansion of Japanese companies in Morocco.
