The 2nd Cyber Security Consultation between Japan and Jordan
On July 29th, 2024, the 2nd Cyber Security Consultation between Japan and Jordan was held in Tokyo. The Consultation was decided to be established at the summit between Prime Minister Kishida and H.M. King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein during His Majesty 's visit to Japan on April 11, 2023, and the first consultation was held last June.
The Japanese delegation was led by Ms. TAKAHASHI Misako, Deputy Director General of Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. YAMAGUCHI Isamu, Counsellor, International Strategy, National Center of Incident readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity. The Jordanian delegation was led by Dr. Mohammad Khasawneh, Director of the National Policy Council and Deputy Chairman of the National Cybersecurity Council.
In this Consultation, they shared recent updates on cyber security policies, and exchanged views on threat awareness in cyberspace.
