Second Joint Foreign Affairs and Security Consultation (Pol-Mil Dialogue) between Japan and Jordan

- On October 27, the second politico-military dialogue (Pol-Mil Dialogue) was held between Japan and Jordan via video conference.
- On the Japanese side, the dialogue was attended by the Director General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. TAKAHASHI Katsuhiko; the Director General for International Affairs of the Bureau of Defense Policy in the Ministry of Defense, Mr. NOGUCHI Yasushi; and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense.
On the Jordanian side, the dialogue was attended by Mr. Malek Twal; Director of Asia and Oceania Bureau in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Brigadier General Bassam Al-Faleh; Director of Planning and Organization, Jordan Armed Forces, and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jordan Armed Forces and the Royal Court. - Both sides discussed with a wide range of issues, including regional situations and Japan-Jordan security cooperation.
