On April 11, commencing at 6:25 p.m. for approximately 25 minutes, Mrs. Kishida Yuko, the Spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan, had a meeting with Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, who is accompanying His Majesty King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on a visit to Japan. During her visit to Japan, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo to experience Japanese art and culture.

  1. Mrs. Kishida welcomed the visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah to Japan and expressed her gratitude that their visit was a great opportunity to deepen the friendship between the two countries. For her part, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, expressed her admiration for Japan’s culture and traditions, and welcomed this opportunity to enhance relations between Japan and Jordan.
  2. They also exchanged views, in a friendly atmosphere, on sightseeing spots in both countries and children’s education which is their common interest. They confirmed the importance of making efforts to provide quality education to all children and improving school environments for teachers, parents, and children.
