Message from the Foreign Minister

I express my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy for the large number of casualties and extensive damage caused by the earthquake that occurred in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on June 24, 2026.
We stand in solidarity with the people of Venezuela in this difficult time and wish to convey that the Government of Japan is prepared to provide necessary assistance.
