President of the Republic of Ecuador and Mrs. VALBONESI to visit Japan

H.E. Mr. Daniel NOBOA AZÍN, President of the Republic of Ecuador, and his spouse, Mrs. VALBONESI, will pay a visit to Japan from August 26 to 30.

During their stay in Japan, the President and Mrs. VALBONESI will have an Imperial Audience with Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince and Crown Princess Akishino. Mr. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan, will also hold a summit meeting with the President and host a lunch in his honor.
As a result of the visit to Japan by the President and Mrs. VALBONESI, it is expected that friendly relations between Japan and the Republic of Ecuador will be further strengthened.
