Meeting between Mrs. KISHIDA Yuko, the Spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan
and Mrs. Alcocer, First Lady of the Republic of Colombia

On September 28th, commencing at 3:30 p.m. for approximately 50 minutes, Mrs. KISHIDA Yuko, the Spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan, had a meeting with Mrs. Verónica del Socorro ALCOCER GARCÍA, First Lady of the Republic of Colombia, who was visiting Japan to attend the State Funeral for former Prime Minister ABE Shinzo.
- Mrs. Kishida expressed her gratitude to Mrs. Alcocer for her visit to Japan and her attendance to the State Funeral for former Prime Minister Abe. Mrs. Alcocer extended her condolences on his passing.
- They also exchanged views on the cultures of Japan and Colombia and gender equality, and expressed their wish to cooperate for further development of friendly relations between the two countries.
