Message of condolences from Prime Minister KISHIDA Fumio following the damages caused by the flood disaster in the northeastern part of the Federative Republic of Brazil
On December 28th, regarding the damage resulting from the floods in the northeastern part of Brazil, Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, delivered the following message of condolences to H.E. Mr. Jair Bolsonaro, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
“I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to the government and the people of the Federative Republic of Brazil on the recent floods in the northeastern part of the country, which have claimed many precious lives and forced many people to evacuate their homes due to damage. I would also like to express my heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives and their bereaved families. I pray for the early recovery of those who are affected and the prompt reconstruction of the affected areas.”
