Courtesy Call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs HORII by Minister of Human Capital of Argentine Republic, Ms. Pettovello

On October 8, commencing at 4:30 p.m. for approximately 30 minutes, Mr. HORII Iwao, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, received a courtesy call from H.E. Ms. Sandra Viviana Pettovello, Minister of Human Capital of the Argentine Republic, who was visiting Japan under the ministerial-level invitation program.
- At the outset, State Minister Horii expressed that the relationship with Argentina, which shares values and principles and is a strategic partner, is important. He also welcomed Minister Pettovello's visit to Japan during this milestone year marking the 140th anniversary of Japanese emigration to Argentina.
- Subsequently, Minister Pettovello expressed her gratitude for the invitation to Japan by the Japanese government. She also stated that, through site visits and other activities related to education, nursing care, AI, and robotics, she was able to engage in meaningful exchanges of views with relevant parties regarding Japan's initiatives in these fields.
- Furthermore, both sides agreed to cooperate to further deepen bilateral relations.
