Courtesy Call on Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs AKIMOTO Masatoshi by H.E. Mr. Rubén Eduardo Miguel TEMPONE, Ambassador-Designate of the Argentine Republic to Japan


On July 24, 2023, Mr. AKIMOTO Masatoshi, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Rubén Eduardo Miguel TEMPONE, Ambassador-Designate of the Argentine Republic to Japan. The overview is as follows.
Parliamentary Secretary Akimoto welcomed H.E. Mr. Tempone’s assumption of office as Ambassador-Designate to Japan, and expressed his hope to strengthen the bilateral relations further, taking an opportunity of this year’s 125th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Ambassador-Designate Tempone stated that both countries would continue to work on bilateral issues and cooperate towards utilization of renewable energy and realization of a decarbonized society.
Parliamentary Secretary Akimoto and Ambassador-Designate Tempone exchanged views on a wide range of agenda items of the bilateral relations and shared the view that the two countries would continue to work closely together.
