Seminar on the Central America and Caribbean Region in the framework of Public-Private Platform of Latin American and the Caribbean Infrastructure Development Alliance (PLACIDA)

On May 13, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a seminar on the Central America and Caribbean region in the framework of the Public-Private Platform of Latin American and the Caribbean Infrastructure Development Alliance (PLACIDA).
- At the outset, opening remarks were delivered by government officials including Mr. Ishize, Director-General, Latin American and Caribbean Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Subsequently, Mr. Roger Pujols, Deputy Minister for Project Development, Ministry of the Presidency of the Dominican Republic, H.E. Mr. Diego Alejandro DALTON Rosales, Ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador and representatives from the Embassy of Costa Rica and Panama gave presentations aimed at attracting infrastructure investment by Japanese companies in the Central America and Caribbean regions. Additionally, Kao Corporation provided a presentation to introduce their technologies and other capabilities.
- Finally, there was an active exchange of views, involving representatives from Japanese companies and other participants in the seminar.
