On January 26, commencing at 5:00 p.m. for approximately 40 minutes, State Minister for Foreign Affairs HORII Iwao received a courtesy call from H.E. Ms. Melba Pría, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to Japan. The summary is as follows:
- At the outset, State Minister Horii expressed gratitude for the collaboration of Ambassador Pría during his recent visit to Mexico. He also expressed the importance of exchanges between Japan and Mexico, including at the high-level, for deepening bilateral relations. In response, Ambassador Pría expressed appreciation for State Minister Horii's visit to Mexico and stated her expectation to work towards revitalizing exchanges between Japan and Mexico, including at the high-level.
- Both sides concurred to continue working together to deepen bilateral relations, including bilateral cooperation and economic relations.
