President of the Republic of Guatemala and Mrs. PEINADO to visit Japan

H.E. Dr. César Bernardo ARÉVALO de León, President of the Republic of Guatemala, and his spouse, Mrs. PEINADO, will pay a visit to Japan from June 8 to 11 as official guest of the Government of Japan for participation to National Day Event of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

During their stay in Japan, the President will have an Imperial Audience with His Majesty the Emperor. Mr. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan, will also hold a summit meeting with the President and host a dinner in his honor.
As a result of the visit to Japan by the President and Mrs. PEINADO, it is expected that friendly relations between Japan and the Republic of Guatemala will be further strengthened.
