Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs AKAHORI’s Attendance at the United Nations Security Council Briefing on Ukraine

On September 24, commencing at 3:00 p.m. local time, for approximately 120 minutes, Mr. AKAHORI Takeshi, Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, who was visiting New York, participated in the United Nations Security Council Briefing.
In his statement, Senior Deputy Minister AKAHORI strongly condemned Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, and emphasized the importance of achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in Ukraine based on the principles of the UN Charter.
