The Program for Global Human Resource Development for Peacebuilding and Development (Primary Course) Call for Applications for non-Japanese Program Associates

- The Program for Global Human Resource Development for Peacebuilding and Development is a program established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA) in order to strengthen the civilian capacity of Japan and other countries in the field of peacebuilding and development. MOFA has commissioned the University of Hiroshima to implement the program.
- Applications are now open for 10 non-Japanese Program Associates (PAs)to participate in the Primary Course. The application guidelines and materials can be found on the Hiroshima University website
. Please submit your application and other required documents on the Hiroshima University website by 9:00 am Japan Time on October 24, 2024.
- [note] Those from the following countries are eligible to apply for this program this year: Bangladesh, Fiji, El Salvador, Ukraine, Lebanon, Palestine, Mali, South Sudan, Uganda and African Union Commission (AUC).
- The course is for 4 weeks from January 26, 2025, to February 22, 2025. Week 1 will be held online. Week 2 to 4 will be in-person training in Tokyo and Hiroshima.
