(JFY 2021 Mid-Career Course)

- The Global Program for Human Resource Development for Peacebuilding and Development (Global Peacebuilders Program) is established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA) in order to strengthen the civilian capacity of Japan and other countries in the field of peacebuilding and development. MOFA has commissioned the Hiroshima Peacebuilders Center (HPC) to implement the program. Japan places emphasis on contributing to the peace and stability of the international community under the policy of “Proactive Contribution to Peace” based on the principle of international cooperation.
- The application guidelines and materials can be found on the HPC website . The Mid-Career Course has 20 participants from all nationalities who have about 10 years of work experience in fields related to peacebuilding and development. The Course especially welcomes applicants from international organizations.
- The Course will be conducted in Tokyo (conducted in English) from January 5th to 11th, 2022.
- The closing date of the application is October, 13, 2021 (9:00 AM, Japan Time).
