Meeting between Mr. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan and His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg

On May 28, commencing at 2:35 p.m., for approximately 30 minutes, Mr. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan, held a meeting with His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, who was visiting Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows.
- At the outset, Prime Minister Ishiba expressed his heartfelt welcome to Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg for his visit to Japan on the occasion of the Luxembourg National Day at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. Prime Minister Ishiba stated that cooperation with Luxembourg has been progressing in various fields including aerospace and finance, then expressed his hope to further deepen cooperation toward the 100th anniversary of our friendship in 2027.
- In response, His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri stated that Japan and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg have a long history of friendship, and His Royal Highness hoped that bilateral relations would further develop.
- The two sides, at the end, exchanged views on strengthening Japan-Luxembourg relations, particularly in the space sector.
