Congratulatory Message from Prime Minister ISHIBA to H.E. Mr. Gintautas PALUCKAS, Prime Minister of Lithuania

On January 6, Mr. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan, sent a congratulatory letter to H.E. Mr. Gintautas PALUCKAS on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania.
In the letter, Prime Minister Ishiba congratulated Prime Minister Paluckas on his appointment, and noting the deepening bilateral relationship under the strategic partnership, expressed his intention to cooperate with the Lithuania toward realizing a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific,” and further strengthening bilateral relationship based on the recognition that the security of Europe and the Indo-Pacific is inseparable as the security environment becomes increasingly severe.
