President of the Italian Republic to Visit Japan

- H.E. Mr. Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, accompanied by his daughter, Ms. Laura Mattarella will pay an Official Visit to Japan from March 3 to 7, 2025 and will stay in Japan until March 9.
- During his stay in Japan, the President will make a State Call on Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan, and Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan will host a Court Luncheon in honor of the President. Mr. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan, will also hold a meeting with the President, and host a dinner for the President.
- As a result of the visit to Japan by the President, it is expected that the friendly relations between Japan and the Italian Republic will be further strengthened. During his stay in Japan, the President will visit Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima. Through the visit to Kyoto and Hiroshima further development between both countries’ regional exchange is expected.
